Anna is the President of the International Detention Coalition.
Anna is a shareholder at Maggio + Kattar in Washington, D.C., and leads the Litigation Practice and Global Practice areas at the firm. Anna has practiced immigration, refugee and human rights law for more than two decades in the United States, Central America and Europe.
Her experience includes private practice, legal advocacy in the nonprofit sector and several years in academia In addition, Anna has taught immigration and refugee law in universities in the United States and in Europe. An internationally recognised expert in the areas of asylum and refugee law, Anna has also consulted to the UNHCR and other international non-governmental organisations.
