Mary is a founding member of IDC and the current Treasurer and Secretary for the organisation. She is an experienced finance professional whose career has spanned chartered accounting firms, the financial services industry and the not-for-profit sector.
Working in these various sectors has seen her move from finance roles to a broader skill set in risk management, company secretarial, compliance, human resources, and membership services.
Mary has worked in small, medium and large organisations in Australia and overseas. She has worked at senior executive level as both a CFO and a Company Secretary, and is also an experienced Board director and Committee member for organisations in the health, environment and human rights sectors.
In her various roles, Mary has assisted organisations experiencing rapid growth and major organisational change, including establishing new operations from the ground up.
